"I can say without exaggeration that this course is utterly indispensable for anyone in recovery with even a passing curiosity of the transformative potential of psychedelics.
If you're lucky, you may find a good group to discuss the safe usage of psychedelics, or you might discover a great fellowship to discuss recovery from addiction. However, you absolutely will not find a program that integrates addiction recovery with the intentional and therapeutic usage of psychedelics, at least not of this caliber.
Let's start with the coach; Vanessa is nothing short of amazing. I have been in and out of recovery since June of 2015 and now I am solid in my recovery. I have so much love for the 12-step model and my experience of it is that it was not as expansive as I needed.
The 12-steps alone did not help me address what lies beneath for me that was contributing to my active addiction and relapses. When I found psychedelic healing, that all began to change and I was able to unearth things that I didn't even realize were going "bump in the night" for me until I was being presented with the opportunity to heal them.
Once I got on my feet and became an advocate for marrying these two things together, I opened my heart to the idea that others were doing the same. Then the universe sent me the most beautiful sign in the form of Sobriety of The Soul. The container that I dreamed could exist was being birthed and held by this Divine being who leads with unconditional love, acceptance, wisdom and knowledge. It was a God send for me as it reinfused hope into my veins that together we can address our dysfunctional substance use AND we could be offered an avenue to walk down to have the spiritual awakening so many reach for and so many do not achieve.

“What a miracle Vanessa Crites offers.
Here I am a senior lady, sober for eleven years and grateful for twelve step recovery. Here I am a senior lady, with lingering depression which has been treated with various levels of response; never far from the maddening cry of drowning while breathing.
Here I am a senior lady, with no recreational drug history and a growing awareness of the thrilling results that caring doctors at Johns Hopkins (and other universities) are achieving with the use of psychedelics (primarily psilocybin.)
